You will find that you will have to slow down to make your turn as the developed keel line on this boat wants to go fast and straight. I often find my mind wandering as I build a rowing rhythm and if you are not careful, you will find yourself miles from your launch site. You can certainly take along a passenger or even two. There is even a set of additional oarlocks for tandem rowing. Where you can stand up and walk around the 14' Whitehall while underway, you will want to keep the center of gravity lower in this boat as it is more slender with a rounder bilge.

If you are looking for a stable, comfortable boat that will not only give you a nice outing but a good workout if you wish, then this boat is most definitely worth looking at closely.
