But they pay great and take care of you. Great company to work for. I love my job and continue to try my best. Labor intensive. If you don't mind working hard, it's a great place to work. The environment is laid back and can be a lot of fun. I was there for about six months.

Jan to July of So I don't know what's the same and what's changed since then. But here's how it broke down when I was there: Typical day is 7 a. You're basically building boats or finishing already built boats, depending on what section you work in. It helps to be relatively mechanically inclined because you work a lot with tools and some machinery. I didn't have any prior experience with boats or a lot of the tools and machines they use.

But they'll train you and it's not hard to pick up on. The people there are great. You can ask for help and the guys are willing to help you. After you get the hang of it, the bosses don't micromanage you. Nobody is looking over your shoulder. If you stay on top of your work, nobody bothers you. If you mess up anything, there will be yellow tape on your boat the next day and it have notes on what you need to fix. You're usually working with at least one or two other guys and you're assigned a boat sometimes two for the day.

One of you does the assembly and other does the console. Once you're done with the one boat, you might go to another one to help out. But you could be on one boat for more than a day. Some of the bigger boats take more time. They have "2-day boats" and even "3-day" boats". The environment is pretty laid back. You can wear headphones while you work, so long as you can still communication with other people and they can with you.

There's not much advancement. Not that you can't move up in pay - more Decent pay, fun environment, good people. It's labor intensive and not much advancement. Yes 5 No. Great company and all built in South Carolina. I love my job at Sea Hunt. The work is fun and it's fun to watch the boats being built from ground up. The management is friendly and they don't mind cutting a few jokes with you to pass the time. Paid time off, holidays, great hourly pay, and guaranteed work every day.

Yes 2 No. NO Bueno. Would be better if you got more money per hour. Pay, Time off, Workpace. Rate your recent company. The Owner of the company is good, but the surpervisors are not professional at all. A typical day at Sea Hunt boats you never know what to expect. People usually don't last working there because of the working environment and because the supervisors and lead management are extremely messy.

Although the job was very stressful, not because of the work so much but because they were not professional and kept drama going around. I did learn tons of things while working there. The hardest part about the job was working with other individuals. I enjoyed building boats and learning how different chemicals work and react.

You could listen to music while workin. Short breaks, unproffesional staffing. Yes No 1. Easy but very stressful. The work place is very stressful and has poor management. The supervisors completely ignores the unsafe and poor working habits of the employees. The bonuses are the best incentives on th job. Yes 3 No. Ok place to work. All together not a bad place to work as long as the owner doesn't do a walk around. Busy and productive work environment. Sea hunt is one of the best places to work for.

They really give you great opportunities for bonuses and vacations. But the management isn't the same. They don't treat you well. Bonuses, vacations paid, insurancd. Short breaks, mentallt abusive management. Yes 1 No. Steady and productive work in a arge warehouse.
