Other than that I can not think of anything else that would cause this kind of design from being a great fishing vessel. I myself do not carry huge heavy loads and to be honest who needs lbs of fishing gear while in the bay fishing for trout and reds?

I can understand boats that are loaded down with live bait in the live well but, I have never fished with live bait as i enjoy artificial. For me and my kids, Plane think this will be the ultimate dual purpose boat. Post anything you want that is related to such a boat. Was really trying to get some experience of scratch build on simple balsa and ply, any suggestions would be welcome. Air boats are easy to scratch build, there are also many kits that might help you get started although not scratch built but you do have to do a lot of the ritual sanding trimming etc, end result generally better then a first attempt scratch build with little to no experience.
