It was a cold day, the river was rough but the boat handled well and it was a good ride. Looking forward to many hours of fun in the sun! Very happy with the boat. The pea-picker is damn nice, if I can catch fish as good as this think looks and runs, look for me on ESPN. But I will would still like to locate an owners manual, its a Rick Clunn Edition. It is very bad out of the hole and porpoises unless I am going WOT. I tried all different trim settings I am thinking the jackplate is set too high, also I don't think the motor is getting water at speed.

Motor is 2" above the transom. Putting new stuff on it. Got my prop reworked, bought a 6" jackplate for it, want to put Boyesen reeds, new trolling motor, new seats, steering wheel, No Feedback steering, etc. Have not measured prop to pad distance. There is a ton of storage in this boat. I love the wide front deck and the huge areas under the consoles. Top end speed and ride with great fishability, this boat has it all. This is truly the best all around boat I have ever owned.

Boat has major torque steer to the right rack and pinion steering not the greatest. Boat severely lists to the port side upon planing then evens out when trimmed.

Hopefull Tracker will live up to their lifetime guarantee. Force Series "It's not the biggest or fastest but it's sharp and it will catch just as many fish as any. The boat came from the factory without the jackplate, this really helped with additional speed and it gave it a much better ride.
I had been told that you would lose some stability with a jackplate, not with this one. The boat has a 30 gallone tank and with the Merc I can run all day and still have plenty of gas left.
I had a Nitro before and I really liked it, I hope to step up to a Series in about 2 years. The boat has lots of storage and even thought it's only 18 ft it handles rough water real well. From day 1 from the dealer, it came with a 23" prop and was unable to plane up. Dealer put on a 21" Vengeance and I put a hydrofoil on it and it is up and on plane in no time but never noticed wot rpms until yesterday. It's turning rpms wot. Any suggestions, please e-mail me.

This is no BS that my boat will run the. Lots of guys have found out the hard way, but she flies and I have no problem with helping any one here. The motor is not stock, but when it was it still ran 76 on the gps. This is loaded with gear and a buddy.

My wife surprised me when she took the boat without me knowing and had all new carpet put in and a bimini top put on. Optimax Getting ready to try a 24" Tempest to gain more speed. Heavy boat though, could use another 50 horse. This boat rocks in rough water. Holeshot is a little slow with the 26" Chopper. I am thinking a 26" Trophy will make it run better.
This is with a full tournament load and full tanks of gas. Also ran Hole shot is way better. Still have to play with engine height a bit to see if there is more performance to be had.

That speed was with full tank and tackle, me and my son not bad. Stripers were on big time the week after Christmas, just wanted to throw that in for everybody back east. I usually run it at rpms. Good boat and great motor. I can be seen running on the Chick and James rivers and lakes Gaston and Kerry and once in a while on the Potomac.
Very happy with the boat itself. Boat runs good with just myself. With a full tourney load I still get 60 mph. The GT loves the cold air though. To run real rough water you've got to drive the boat, but it never gives you a feeling that it's going to come out from underneath you. Unfortunately they weren't using the UV inhibitor in the gelcoat at the time, so it's a struggle to keep the oxidation away. Motor is 2" off the transom. Tom - VA 75 Merc 51 mph rpm.
I am however, going to try to get it a little faster. Boat is Onyx Black, Yellow stripe, solid Black hull. Great handling boat and fishability. Have got 87 mph with 3 blade prop. It puts out over hp. One fast Nitro; thinking about selling. Mostly minor scratches with a few chips and gouges.
