Friendly staffs All u can drink beer, rum Punch ,other alcohol Yummy lunch!! Good music. I saw 2 sea turtles, stringray and Lots of fishes. Another trip with these guys. This year due to covid we hired the boat just for Fantastic day , superb crew helped those new to snorkelling enabling them to see turtles swimming and other underwater features special thanks to Marlo and Ryan.
Would definitely recommend. Great mix of snorkeling stops and sailing with a very good lunch and bottomless drinks. Seeing turtles wasn't that good, but it didn't matter. The crew was incredibly fun and made sure everyone had a great time. What a great catamaran company We took our 1 year old and 3 year old who loved it, we got picked up from our accommodation on time had a couple pick ups on the way, got to the harbour and was greeted by friendly staff assisting us onto the catamaran.
There wasn't too many people onboard which made it a lovely trip with a couple stops where we could get into the sea and snorkel with the turtles. Food was great selection,fresh and drinks always avaliable Most of all the best was just how friendly the crew onboard were to us and especially to our little ones who can be quite shy but by the end of the trip they were enjoying it all and dancing to the music and hi five the crew Next time I visit we shall be going on cool runnings catamaran trip again and would recommend to anyone esp families with little ones.
The crew and captain on this boat make it worth it. Super friendly and just plain awesome. Swimming with the turtles was anti climactic, ship wreck was so so, but sailing in the ocean and the friendly crew made this excursion fun.
Worth the money. Having used this company once before on a previous visit we had no hesitation booking again. We booked a small 16 person boat and spent time on the phone talking about our preference for a small, more intimate experience and this was agreed. Their catamarans go from Bridgetown which meant our pick up was early as our party of eight adults were either in Holetown, Mullins or north of Speightsown.
We were also told all pick ups were from the coast road and they did not pick up inland so this meant six of our party made their own way to pick up points on the coast road, yet the mini bus I was on picked up from the Royal Westmoreland resort, further inland than either of the other inland accommodations. On arrival at their offices in Bridgetown we were informed that we had been moved to one of their largest catamarans - I can't remember the passenger size but it was over Apparently all their smaller catamarans were fully booked.
We asked about a 16 passenger catamaran for the following day but were told they were booked by private parties for the next month. We asked for a refund and transport back to our pick up points and this was arranged. Why did they accept the booking in the first place, especially when we had specifically told them we were only interested in the small catamaran?
Why were we not informed immediately if they accepted a booking from a private party after our booking? Why did they not inform us at the point of pick up that our booking was no longer as we requested? Definitely not a good experience.
I wonder how often this happens? We managed to book a 16 passenger catamaran with another company - Good Times - and had a marvellous time.
They go from Holetown so pick up times are later and do not require very early breakfasts! I know who we will be recommending in future and who we will not.
Our two day charter catamarans that depart from Bridgetown are limited to the number of guests aboard. Our newer addition is our luxury catamaran which does offer a different excursion from Port Ferdinand Marina located in the north of the island. As January is one of the busiest months of the year, we do receive bookings for Cool Runnings IV Luxury many months in advance.
If the luxury catamaran had been requested, you would have been told it was privately booked on the requested date. I do think that the misunderstanding was due to the fact that we do smaller groups on our regular catamarans and our luxury experience was not requested.
