So therefore a full rebuild was performed and different pistons were used that eliminated the possibility of this happening again.
Also because of this 2 cylinder head temperature gauges were installed to monitor both cylinder heads. The new powerhead currently has about 5 hours on it and it runs super smooth and starts great. As for the boat, since the motor was out of commission the carpet and main seat were also redone over the winter and look amazing.
The trolling motor is about 3 years old and is a Motorguide Digital Tour with 82 lbs which works as it should. Up front the boat has the extended deck with the extra storage, right and left rod locker and a rod buckle which are pretty nice to have.
