Capri is a small island just off the Sorrento peninsula, across the bay from Naples. Getting there can be done by ferry from Naples, Sorrento, Salerno, or any of the intermediate smaller communities , by private boat or as part of a tour.

Got the boat from Minori to Capri take about an hour and 45 minutes boat was quite hot inside ,they don't allow you to stand at the back in the open even though there was enough room,but overall it was ok ,expect big crowds when you get off as other boats are coming from far and wide,it was a very hot day we hired a scooter to get around the island was well worth considering.

This was the perfect way to see the Amalfi Coast and Capri during our stay in Amalfi. Along the way to Capri we stopped to swim, visited the Green Grotto, and rode through the Faraglioni. The crew was very accomodating and provided beer, soda, and wine along the way.
Because of the weather this day, we didn't visit the Blue Grotto the crew gave us the option , and ended up spending our extra time in Capri. We were there about 2 hours and spent the time walking around the island and eating lunch.
