The Steamboat Skating Club is an inclusive organization that provides ice skaters of all abilities and ambitions the opportunity to develop personally, athletically and artistically in a positive, fun, and supportive environment.

The Steamboat Skating Club strives to push past conventional ideals of figure skating as sport alone, marrying artistic freedom with technical skill. Our Sunday team training consists of off-ice classes for our high and low level skaters, on-ice group technical training and an Intro to Figure Skating class. Team training consists of technical and edgework skills, power skating, jumps and spins. We also pair synchro skill and theatrical on-ice training throughout the season to prepare for our annual ice show.

Our annual shows achieve a high level of artistic authenticity while employing athletic skill. Skaters have the opportunity to share their love of skating with the community at large each spring when our show draws a crowd in excess of attendees.
