We were thrilled with all of the other companies we used, but Paradise Watersports was by far the worst in terms of communication, friendliness and value. We did the parasailing trip. Like Melissa's review, no one explained anything to us before we left to go out, or Without a word, the deck hand just started clipping the straps on the people that were going to ride.
No friendly smile, no instructions. Just clip, clip. When we signed up to go, no one said that you had to go double on the ride. For several days we had been watching single flyer parasail rides outside our condo and up and down the beach and assumed that was what we were paying for. I wish now we would have used one of the companies we saw from the beach! We were not informed we couldn't do single flyer parasail rides until they were preparing to hook us up to the parasail.
That's when they said they didn't do singles and we had to go double or triple. We told the captain we paid for single rides and he immediately radio'd in to the desk and told them to stop selling single rides. If they only do double or triple rides, they need to tell you upfront when you are paying! So if you have 4 people, you have to purchase 2 CDs. When we were signing up, I really didn't get a good feeling from the short haired brunette lady I should've gone with my gut.
She had an arrogance about her. My impression was she was just trying to get us to purchase the most expensive package. I asked her if there were any coupons from my coupon book all the other companies had coupons and she said no. She wasn't forthcoming on any special rates.
I know because I asked the captain how far up the other groups went. I don't know if that was a mistake that the captain made or what. I guess they all got a bonus. However, I don't believe we actually went 4 miles.
If you do this trip, be sure to set your GPS to check the distance. You would think that with all the money they are raking in, the captain and crew would have a smile on their face to match their parachute. Nobody mentioned to us we needed to watch it. They just said they needed to close the windows because the air conditioner was on and it was hot outside. We insisted on a receipt, so they wrote one out for us. The only positive thing I can say is the blond girl working at the booth after our ride. She was very nice and tried to be helpful the brunette left for a break.

As I understand you feel that you were not informed that singles would not be allowed, this is because the Captian driving the boat make that decision based on a wind to weight ratio keeping SAFTEY as our first priority.
